BUSTEDバステッド
イギリス発、ジェイムス・ボーン（vo&g）、チャーリー・シンプソン（vo&g）、マット・ジェイ（vo&b）の３人組バンド。モデルばりのルックスとメロディアスかつポップなロック・ソングで人気を博し、デビュー・シングル「ホワット・アイ・ゴー・トゥ・スクール・フォー」が全英シングル・チャート３位を記録。以降も次々とシングルをチャート・トップに送り込み、一大ブームを巻き起こした。03年６月、１stアルバム『バステッド』を発表。２ndアルバム『プレゼント・フォー・エヴリワン』とともにUK国内で100万枚以上ものセールスを記録し、を、04年には映画『サンダーバード』の主題歌で全英No.１を記録。だが、この頃からチャーリーが別のバンド、ファイトスターを結成し「このバンドに専念したい」とのコメントを発表。05年１月、チャーリーがバステッド脱退の意思を示したため、他のメンバーは解散を決定した。
