99年３月21日、沖縄で行われた「九州・沖縄合同オーディション」で、奨励賞に選ばれた東郷祐佳、瀬戸山清香、朝長真弥の３人で結成されたユニット。N.Y.でヴォーカルとダンスのレッスンを受け、00年２月、シングル「time after time」でデビュー。食傷気味だった日本のR＆Bシーンに、若いながらも本格派の香り漂う新風を巻き起こし、Jポップ・チャートのみならず、クラブ・チャートでも上位に食い込む実力を見せつける。ポスト・スピードの呼び声も高く、次々とデビューする若手グループの中でも頭ひとつ飛びぬけている印象だ。
