    政治的皮肉とユーモア、さらに「白人と呼ぶな」などで炸裂する極悪なアティテュードを持つNOFXは10年以上のキャリアを持つ。彼らはディストーション・ギターの轟音とスピーディーな曲で現在のパワー・パンク・バンドに多大な影響を与えてきた。「この曲をラジオで放送してください」で象徴されているように、コマーシャリズムを嫌うNOFXは、常に上辺だけのパンクスに対し「消え失せろ」というスタンスを取る。メジャー・レコード・レーベルの大々的なプロモーションを避けて通るNOFXだが、それでもキッズは彼らのアルバムを買いに走る。ベーシストファット・マイクが設立した＜ファット・レック・コーズ＞レーベルから91年にアルバム『リベラル・アニメーション』でデビュー、その後大手の＜エピタフ＞レーベルでも活躍する彼らの快進撃は止まることはない。
