    Royal Huntロイヤル・ハント

    90年代以降の北欧メタル・シーンを引っ張る様式美鋼鉄バンド。キーボードを大胆に導入したドラマティックかつクラシカルなサウンドで、本国デンマーク並びに日本で大きな人気を博す。
    93年、アルバム『Land Of Broken Hearts』にてシーンに登場。ストロング・スタイルな様式美的音世界を熱く展開。シリアス・ロックの台頭で下火になりつつあった北欧メタルの救世主として、大きな注目を浴びる。そして94年の２nd『Clown In The Mirror』では、前作の路線をさらにビルド・アップ。圧倒的に濃厚なコンテンツに、多くのファンが酔いしれたのだった。以来、様式美を貫いた非常にハイ・クオリティな作品を続々と生み出している。
    ちなみに、新日本プロレス『TEAM2000』の蝶野正洋選手の入場曲は彼らのナンバー。
