オリヴィエ賞2020ノミネーション発表
、NTLiveでの上映迫る『フリーバッグ
』が2部門にノミネート

イギリスにて演劇界最高峰の賞である2020年ローレンス・オリヴィエ賞のノミネーションが2020年3月3日（現地時間）に発表された。

このうち、日本で3月13日（金）よりナショナル・シアター・ライブ（NTLive）での上映が決定している『フリーバッグ』が次の2部門でノミネートされた。

『フリーバッグ』は作者フィービー・ウォーラー＝ブリッジによる一人芝居で、この舞台が評価された彼女は、今、ハリウッドで最も注目されるクリエーターの一人となり、『007』シリーズ史上2人目の女性脚本家として『007／ノー・タイム・トゥ・ダイ』に参加した。

また彼女が、舞台『フリーバッグ』を元に企画・制作総指揮・脚本・主演を務めた英ドラマ「Fleabag フリーバッグ」は、米テレビ界最高の栄誉とされるプライムタイム・エミー賞（第71回）で計6部門を受賞したほか、英国アカデミー賞（テレビ部門）、ゴールデングローブ賞（テレビ部門）など名だたる賞に輝いた。しかも、ドラマ放映時には主演するフィービーの衣裳や小物の検索率が34～38%増加するという“フリーバッグ・エフェクト”という社会現象まで巻き起こした。このドラマは日本でもアマゾンプライムなどで視聴可能だ（2020年3月4日現在）。

今回NTLiveで劇場公開するのは、ロンドン、ウィンダムズ劇場で上演した際に収録したもの。『フリーバッグ』はTOHOシネマズ 日本橋 他で、3月13日（金）より１週間限定公開となる。
