Atari Teenage Riotアタリ・ティーンエイジ・ライオット
ハードコアの神様アレック・エンパイアと風変わりなカール・クラック、毒々しいヴォーカルのハニン・エライアス、そしてパワー・エレクトロニクス名人ニック・エンドから成るアタリ・ティーンエイジ・ライオット。彼らは、伝説のバンドである。ドイツ出身の４人組はハードコア・パンクの精神と迅速なダンス・ビートを組み合わせ、音楽を政変の媒体として利用。リズムとディストーションに満ちた各トラックは、独断的な左翼革命のスローガンである。過激派を気取りながら（彼らの反・資本主義なメッセージはメジャー・レーベルにも登場している）、時には宣言どおりに活動を行う（ベルリンで暴動と化した抗議運動に参加、そして逮捕された）。ダンス・ミュージックがすたれ、パンクも政治的に無関心になろうとしていた時、彼らのユニークなサウンドと恐れを知らない詞はタイミング良く出現した。
